OUR HISTORY
Originally a pre-school, this location has been a staple in the Homestead community since the 1970's. Nestled in a quiet residential area, The Thinking Child Christian Academy (TCCA), initially opened its doors in March of 2007. TCCA began by servicing children from Preschool through Kindergarten. Over the years the school has expanded to include Preschool through Eighth grade. Our staff has a strong commitment to serving the children and families of Homestead and it's surrounding communities. TCCA is a place where children not only learn and grow academically but understand the importance of what it means to make a positive impact in their community.
The Thinking Child Academy is an AISF and NECPA accredited private school located in Homestead, Florida. Our private school offers Preschool through 8th grade classes in a nurturing environment.
TCCA operates from the premise that every child has innate talents that when fostered allow the student to realize their ideal selves.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We firmly believe every child can learn. However, many times children are left behind because their individualities are overlooked. We work diligently to tap into each child's individual learning style in order to facilitate their learning.

Our mission is to ensure the students of The Thinking Child Academy are not just prepared for the next chapter in their lives, but the one after that. It is never too early to be college ready and our rigorous curriculum lays the foundation for the critical thinking skills necessary to make that leap. TCCA aims to provide a racially and culturally diverse community of students, parents and staff, dedicated to creating an environment in which each person is treated with unconditional positive regard and acceptance.
